Taking a deeper look at what it means to be healthy in western Kansas.
Most people aren’t “sick enough” to be diagnosed with a health condition when they run labs through their primary care provider. So they end up stuck in a frustrating middle ground. Their labs don’t fall outside the "normal range", but they still don’t feel great.
They’re dealing with fatigue, inflammation, weight changes, hormone issues, and digestive problems… yet they’re told everything is “normal.” That doesn't sound normal to me! And because that's what happens when they're stuck in the middle, they often don’t receive any real answers or direction. So they’re left trying to manage symptoms on their own instead of understanding what’s actually driving them.
But what if the problem isn’t obvious because no one is actually looking at the data the right way? That’s where lab-based functional medicine comes in. Not guessing. Not chasing symptoms. But looking at what your body is actually showing us at a physiological level from a functional perspective.
Not to chase a diagnosis, but to understand why your body is struggling with the symptoms it’s sending in the first place.
